I graduated From The University of Texas at Dallas in May 2007 with a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science. My academic interests include application development and security, networks, and databases. I enjoy learning new things about computers and software development. To me, development is more than a job or a hobby, it is an art. A skilled developer can create anything they can imagine in code, just as a painter conveys their ideas on a canvas.

I am currently employed by New Media Broadcasting Company. Officially my title is Quality Assurance/Configuration Management Engineer. Unofficially, I'm the company Swiss Army Knife. Lately I have been doing extensive work on Drupal development (mostly PHP modules), patching up some of the holes left behind in the wake of our agile development. Personal Info:

On June 2, 2007 I married the woman of my dreams, Stephanie Foster. We honeymooned in Maui, Hawaii and immediately following our return moved to Los Angeles, California. You can find more information about our wedding and see some pictures at stephanieandelliott.codebrews.com.

My wife and I are had our first child, Mia, on April 9th, 2009. So far the parenting has been pretty quiet and easy (for me at least!) and I love looking into my daughter's eyes!

I enjoy trying new wines and beers, playing video games, and hanging out with my wife and friends. I also enjoy scuba diving, but haven't had the opportunity to go since the honeymoon. Hopefully I will be able to take advantage of living twenty minutes from the beach sometime soon and get to dive in!
